Also known as Beauchamp Music Week, our Adult Early Music course is running in 2025.
Beauchamp Early Music Week was started by our founders, Alan and Caroline Lumsden, in their home, Beauchamp House. This residential course is for singers and players of Renaissance instruments and has been running for many years. Enthusiasts of early music come back year after year, enjoying the friendly atmosphere and high standard of music-making.

We’re delighted to confirm that the course will again be led by David Hatcher with David Allinson. They will be joined by Jeremy West, Stephanie Dyer and Ann Allen, supported by Jennie Cassidy.
We are back at Malvern College again this year and are very pleased to report that we will be in the main school building. This is within easy walking distance of the accommodation, or a very short drive for those who prefer not to walk. Tutti sessions in the evening will take place in the Big School and we are delighted to confirm that we will be using the Chapel one evening during our stay. The main school is a beautiful old building providing us with breakout spaces, toilets and refreshments all on the ground floor. The airy corridors have seating for use during the breaks and access to the outdoor space if the weather permits.
Our 2025 Early Music Course will take place from Sunday 20 – Friday 25 July. Arrival is from 3.00pm on the Sunday (first session starting at 4:30), departure on the Friday after lunch. (Rooms must be vacated by 10:00am)
